Writer Wednesday
My name is Barb, and I'm a writer, sometimes an artist, mostly a world-creator and storyteller of fantasy worlds. I have more than one pen-name and write in more than one genre.
I blog about life, the universe... OK, you can guess I'm a writer, but not Douglas Adams, so I'll leave the Hitchhiker's Guide aside. And no, I'm not going to spam you by only rambling about my books - if you're interested, just go to the dedicated pages, thank you.
This is my blog, about the "creative barbwire" that I am - there's no rose without thorns, right?
Enjoy...Archives

/ 17/07/2012This is not happiness when the reason you’re awake is because your five month old baby has decided not to sleep from 2am to 5am and you have to get up at 6am to go to work! (Plus it’s winter, dark and freezing cold!) But if it’s a lovely spring day and you’re in no hurry… yes, it would be happiness.

/ 17/07/2012well, it’s not happiness when you wake up in anguish as if you had a nightmare and can’t go back to sleep and have no idea of why you’re so upset… but sometimes I’ve heard great concerts before the sun was up, and they kind of rocked me back to sleep – only to be awakened by crows a couple of hours later!
Love crows, but their voices aren’t exactly the most harmonic of the bird kingdom, LOL!
